I need to make some money online.  I need to start making money from today.  I’m working hard at my blog, lenses, e zine articles and hubs, but I’m still not making any dollars.  These are the cries from frustrated bloggers from all over the net.  What are the latest, exciting ways, of making money with your blog.  How are the experts making money from their blogs in 2012?

You see blogging is a long term exercise.  It won’t pay off overnight, it’s something that has to be done slowly and surely by writing great content, building a community of loyal readers, who trust and understand the way you deliver your messages.  Your articles need to be search engine optimized, which means they need to be written in a way that uses the key words that people are looking for in the search engines.  As an example, someone who is needing to make money online might search for;  how can I make money online, or how can I earn money on the internet or earning money online help, or ways to make money online.  You need to try and think as they would and think of the terms and words, they would use to discover such an article. Lain Ehmann of success plr.com says start with one thing and maximize it before moving on to another. You can jump around and not really accomplish anything because you don’t focus your efforts. Really dig into affiliate marketing, for instance, before trying something else. Laine also suggests that you should keep building! Keep adding products to your product funnel. I started with one 30-day class, and then turned that into an ecourse. Then my audience was asking for a membership program, so I added that. Next came the live events. It kept building and building from there, and will continue to do so!

Nicole on the net.com says I make money from a variety of ways on my blog.

• I sell my own products.
• I promote affiliate products that I recommend.

Nicole also advises that it’s important to look to the long term and she says she goes about this by: building her lists, which help her to sell additional products.  she says it’s important to make connections with people who she respects and does this through her podcasts and a segment on her blog where she does briefs on experts at making money online.  Her other methods are through social media, which brings in new readers and has free reports which she makes available for people to use on their own blogs, which link back to her and thus spreads her name around.
