Get ready for the world first Smart Watch “The i’m Watch”

worlds first smart watch
What is the i’m watch?
The i’m watch is the worlds first Smartwatch. The idea is that it will sync with your IPhone or Android phone, and that you will be able to answer calls and talk through it. Not only that, send mail, sms, tweet, Facebook, watch video, look at pictures, check the weather, and of course the see the time. (Glad they didn’t forget that one) Eventually, the i’m watch will be able to be compatible, with nearly every app in the iphone store or android store.
I want a i’m watch in Diamond and White Gold!
Well I’m sold. I can never find my iPhone in my hand bag. You can only answer, at this stage, but that is fine by me. The company has had to delay, the unveiling of the new gizmo, getting it off to a little bit of a slow start, than I think they hoped for, but one that I don’t suppose will effect them too badly. The reason I say that is, the low end watch starts at $300 and the prices go all the up to in the $20,000. mark, for a white gold and diamond model.

Here’s the companies promo for the i’m smartwatch.
The world’s first real smartwatch. Multi-tasking, easy to use and love: touch, drag, swipe or pinch. Get your intuitive interface in a complex world.
Slick, thin and ergonomic, i’m Watch is made to be part of you. And it’s always with you by all means: phone, web, music, radio, organizer, photo, video, and whatever App you may come up with. Born for multi-tasking exploit, i’m Watch is so fast and simple to use that everything else will be left behind.
But before you run off and order your i’m watch
I best be telling you of a little delay to their plans. The launch date has been set back from the original 16th of May and you might not even see the watch you paid $20,000 for, until sometime, before the 16th of September.
Hear is the link to the letter that the CEO Manuel Zanella and Massimiliano Bertolini President of i’m Spa, the company, that is behind the very first smart watch, the new i’m Watch“, sent out to their first group of customers, on Wednesday the 16th of May 2012.
Where is my $20,000 i”m watch? Please ?
It appears they want to add some additional apps to the the watch, and have decided to hold back on launch date, until July 15th 2012.
For 300 customers, the i’m Watch will become theirs on the 15th of June 2012. These first 300 customers, will be the final testers of the i’m watch, and all going well, the remainder of customers, will start receiving theirs, from the 15th of July 2012 with all current orders being fulfilled by the 15th of September 2012.
The company has promised their first customers, that anyone who had ordered the i’m watch prior to the 16th of May 2012, and that doesn’t cancel their order, will receive a 15% discount on receipt.
If that doesn’t make the customers happy, the following details, were enclosed in the letter,
Given that we understand that you might have lost interest in the purchase, we decided to offer you the following possibilities:
- Giving up the purchase and requesting an immediate refund of the paid amount, providing by July 15th an e-mail to the following address, if you are residing in Italy: assistenza.italia@imwatch.it, or to the following: assistance.world@imwatch.it if you are residing abroad.
- If instead you are willing to wait until the expected date of delivery, you will receive at the delivery a 15% discount on the price paid.
So that will fix it. I think perhaps these guys have been a little ambitious, and let the world in on their secret creation, a little bit prematurely. However I don’t think it will effect them too badly, do you? Let’s see 15% of $20,000 thats $1500 off so $18,500.00 Bargain.
