A blog hop, or a linky uses a link tool for connecting the host site, to the other blogs which are involved in the blog hop or linky. Used for a common link up, as a giveaway, as a contest where users get to vote, and places a linky tool on the host blogs site, and enables others to place a link from the host to their own site.
